FoundersWeek Celebration Rescheduled for Saturday, October 15th.

 

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (October 7, 2016) – Due to the unpredictable weather caused by Hurricane Matthew, the downtown Brooksville Founders’ Week activities, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 8th, will be moved to Saturday, October 15th. Previously scheduled downtown events on the 15th will not be affected, as the addition of new activities will merely serve to make for an even larger Founders’ Week Celebration.

            Activities will begin at 7:30 am with the Run for New Beginning 5K Run, and continue throughout the day until 3:00 pm, with live music, more than 40 vendors, a Taste of Brooksville food tasting, car show, costume contest, scarecrow building and much more.
