Survival Outreach Sanctuary volunteering

Animal Care Giver
As an Animal Caregiver at the Survival Outreach Sanctuary you will have the opportunity to work alongside the Reptiles, Exotic Birds, Lemur, Lions, Tigers, Servals and other animals residing at the Sanctuary.
As an animal caregiver, you will clean enclosures, feed the animals, enrich the animal’s lives, and complete other task as described throughout the training process.
Animal Caregivers are required to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per week. We are always in need of people to help care for the animals and at our facility. In addition to daily cleaning and feeding, we need help with cage construction and property maintenance.

If you have ever wanted to work with animals or are thinking of a career in the animal industry, we offer the opportunity to learn about animal care, training and wildlife education. If you are interested in volunteering, please call (352) 799-2334 to schedule a time to interview for volunteering opportunities.
