Hernando County Utilities Water Awareness Series


Hernando County residents are invited to attend “Rising Concerns – How Sea Level Rise Could Affect Our Coastline, Springs and Water Resources” on Friday, November 17, 2017, 10:00am – 12:00pm at Hernando County Utilities, 15365 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, 34613. This program will cover historic sea levels, the science behind the current levels and the future projections. We will learn about sea level rise in Florida and the potential effect for marine and coastal systems. Presented by David DeWitt, P.G., Southwest Florida Water Management District.
