Spring Hill, Florida (October 20, 2017) – Oak Hill Hospital CEO Mickey Smith will speak at the Special Olympics Florida Celebration of Athletes on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 2 pm until 5 pm. The celebration will be held at the Oak Hill Hospital Graduate Medical Education Center, 11307 Cortez Boulevard, Weeki Wachee, Florida. Speakers begin at 3 pm and the event will include refreshments, athlete information and volunteer opportunities with Special Olympics.

Mr. Smith will offer a personal tribute to Oak Hill Hospital’s late associate, Mark Swiconek. Other guest speakers include Nancy Sawyer of Special Olympics Florida and members of the local Toastmasters chapter.

 

This Celebration of Athletes is held in memory of Mark Swiconek. Mark was a long time Special Olympics athlete and leader. His life was devoted to serving. He was employed at Oak Hill Hospital and was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and Toastmasters International.
